It's not long now before we all bunker down with our families for the holidays, and we just wanted to wish everyone a fantastic time, and a great new year as well. We've had great fun in the Undercover team this year, and are looking forward to more trailers, author sneak peeks and shenanigans next year.
Our Christmas present to you is a little peek at the location used in the Daylight Saving trailer. This is one of the most exciting young adult books out next year, from a new talent in fiction. Here's a little about the book...
When Daniel Lever is dragged to Leisure World Holiday Complex for some "time away" with his depressed dad, his expectations are low. Daniel is overweight, he hates sport, and his father has brought along his beloved tomato plant. But soon Daniel spots a girl swimming in the fake lake. Lexi is elegant and smart, but very mysterious. Why are her bruises getting worse each time she and Daniel meet? And is her watch really ticking backwards? A dark figure stalks the pair, and as British summer time approaches, Daniel has to act quickly. Their souls depend on it.
Our trailer focuses on the first meeting between Daniel and Lexi, and was filmed earlier in the week on Hampstead Heath - here are a couple of shots of the location.
